I live in a woodsy little town in Northern California with my folks. After raising two kids and being out and about in the work force for years & years, I became disabled following a spinal surgery. It's wonderful to be able to write on the Internet, make a little money and sitll feel productive!

My pets are a couple of finches and a cockatiel. Am planning on other birdies, they keep me cheerful!

I'm interested in health issues, pets, family matters, arts & crafts, guitar & music, all kinds of things. I love to thrift shop and you'll probably see some articles and reviews about that.
